Welcome back to our annual celebration of enterprise learning systems excellence, the Talented Learning 2026 LMS Awards! After running this program for more than a decade, I’ve learned that every year has its own story. And this year, that story is all about reinvention.
The market is bigger, faster, and more crowded than ever, with more than 1,000 platforms still vying for attention. So, if you think the learning systems world is shrinking, think again.
Of course, AI plays a huge role in this story. No longer just an add-on feature, AI is fundamentally changing how we design learning systems, create content, and manage workflows. And it’s redefining how people find answers, share knowledge, develop skills, and improve their work performance.
This wave of AI-led innovation isn’t slowing down. Specialized solutions are emerging from all corners of the market. And in turn, expectations about LMS platforms continue to evolve.
As a fiercely independent learning tech analyst and consultant, I’m excited to see this happen. I still believe no single LMS is “the best” for everyone, but there is a best fit for every organization. And finding the ideal solution starts with understanding your specific requirements.
That’s why our 2026 LMS Awards are based on two goals:
1) To recognize learning systems that genuinely are moving the market forward, and
2) To help buyers identify solutions that fit specific audiences, use cases, and business models.

What’s New With Our 2026 LMS Awards?
This year’s awards reflect a market in motion. Among hundreds of learning systems I’ve reviewed, we’re recognizing 66 standouts in 6 categories, including 18 new solutions.
Interestingly, several returning winners appear in new categories. This indicates how quickly products are evolving to meet buyer needs.
Where AI Fits In: From Feature to Foundation
But the biggest shift is how AI shows up. Last year, most vendors were adding AI features to existing platforms. Now, it is at the center of many winning solutions.
For instance, we see agents guiding learners and administrators, AI-based role-play and simulations helping people practice conversations, and knowledge tools delivering reliable answers within Teams, Slack, and the AI assistants people already use.
Embedded Learning Finally Arrives
In addition, learning is becoming part of work, itself. For instance, in software customer education, momentum has moved from digital walkthroughs to learning experiences embedded in products and updated with every release.
Similarly, the best employee learning platforms support knowledge sharing in the flow of work, frontline access from any device, and skills that leaders can develop, verify, and tie to business results.
These shifting market dynamics are reflected in our award categories:
- Extended Enterprise once focused on learning within large multinational corporations. Now it spans a broader spectrum of constituents, including frontline, franchise, contract, and government workforce audiences.
- Learning Operations has grown beyond traditional scheduling and logistics. Leading-edge solutions include the digital infrastructure that moves content and data across the learning ecosystem.
- Professional Education is leaning further into credentialing, continuing education, and association management.
- And our Innovation category continues to serve as a launchpad, with several of last year’s winners now competing in mainstream categories.
Last but not least, the overall field is becoming more global, even as it consolidates. Acquisitions continue to reset the center of gravity. Meanwhile, strong solutions from Europe and Australia now regularly compete on equal footing with North American leaders.
Naturally, I’m keeping all these factors in mind as we unveil the award winners…

And the 2026 LMS Awards Go To…
NOTE: Because we believe every solution is ideal for a buyer with the right requirements, we do not rank winners. Instead, we list systems alphabetically in each category.
1. BEST EXTENDED ENTERPRISE LMS
Organizations use extended enterprise learning systems to train both internal and external audiences. This includes employees and any combination of customers, partners, franchisees, contractors, seasonal workers, developers, and other constituents.
Our 2026 winners demonstrate how complex this challenge has become. Some systems serve large global enterprises that manage multiple brands, business units, and learner populations. Others support frontline or distributed workers who may not be traditional employees. Whatever their circumstances, everyone needs continuous access to relevant training, support, and performance resources.
Vendors in this category excel at audience segmentation, automation, integrations, compliance, content development, mobile delivery, analytics, multilingual support, and increasingly practical AI applications. But features alone don’t separate the leaders from the rest of the field.
The strongest solutions manage complexity without forcing every audience into the same experience. This means multifaceted organizations can support different learner types, business models, and operating environments within a single, cohesive learning ecosystem.
These extended enterprise learning platforms stand out:

6. BEST LEARNING TECH INNOVATION
Innovation continues to transform the learning technology landscape. Increasingly, the most important advances come from specialized solutions that work in tandem with an LMS. These tools help organizations create content faster, practice real-world skills, embed learning directly inside products or workflows, and connect it with other mission-critical systems.
This year’s top tech innovators showcase those capabilities. For instance, some use AI to accelerate content creation, video production, role-play, or knowledge sharing. Others enable skill practice and validation, expert coaching, facilitator-free collaborative learning, and beyond.
So, what’s the common denominator? All of these vendors solve a meaningful learning problem exceptionally well. And each delivers practical business impact.
They make better learning faster to build, more engaging to experience, and easier to measure. This not only expands what’s possible, but also raises the bar for the entire learning tech market:
CLUESO
Clueso makes high-quality product videos remarkably fast to produce and update. Its agentic platform records product workflows and generates step-by-step guides and documentation. It translates voiceovers and captions into more than 150 languages, and can re-record videos whenever a product changes. For customer education, sales enablement, and L&D teams that deliver training for fast-moving software products, Clueso is a powerful content creation engine.
COASSEMBLE
Coassemble is built for software companies that want training to live inside their own products. This solution lets teams use existing courses, or use AI to generate courses from handbooks, decks, PDFs, and other documents. Then, with a single line of code, it embeds lessons and progress data back into their own systems, with a white-label theme for every tenant. For SaaS providers, HR tech platforms, and agencies, Coassemble makes learning a seamless part of the product experience.
GROWTHSPACE
Growthspace takes a precise, outcome-driven approach to developing people. Its AI matches employees with vetted experts from a marketplace of more than 2,500 practitioners for focused six-to-eight-week development sprints, involving one-on-one coaching, small groups, workshops, or structured internal mentoring. With built-in custom KPIs, manager feedback, and ROI analysis, Growthspace gives enterprises like PayPal, Siemens, and ServiceNow a measurable path to targeted skill development.
HUBLMS
For organizations that run on HubSpot, HubLMS offers a natural way to deliver customer education. Built entirely on the HubSpot CMS, it stores course, quiz, and progress data in the HubSpot CRM. This means marketing automation, gated content, personalized certificates, and Stripe-powered payments all work from the same customer record. For marketing-led teams using education to attract, win, and retain customers, HubLMS is an excellent choice.
INCENTLI | Profile | Review | Demo | Case Studies | Insights
Incentli adds a powerful engagement layer to external training programs. Embedded within any LMS, this gamification and incentive platform rewards customers and partners for completing training, driving higher participation, and building brand advocacy. For organizations that treat customer and partner education as a growth strategy, Incentli helps turn learning activity into acquisition, engagement, and loyalty.
INTERFLEXION
Interflexion offers a distinctive way to build critical interpersonal skills that are hardest to teach. Its AI-powered role-play tools let learners practice leadership conversations by voice, video, or text. Next, participants review these recorded sessions, along with behavioral insights and personalized coaching on how to improve their performance. For organizations investing in leadership development and soft skills, Interflexion makes practice private, repeatable, and measurable.
LEARNEXPERTS
LearnExperts brings decades of instructional design expertise to AI-powered authoring. Its LEAi platform transforms product knowledge and documentation into structured, instructionally sound courses and exam question banks, with version control and export to instructor-led training, elearning, video, or web formats. Trusted by Cisco, Emerson, and Splunk, LearnExperts is an excellent choice for software and high-tech companies that create and update courses at scale, while maintaining learning quality.
NANO LMS
From the team behind Animaker, Nano LMS makes AI-powered learning accessible to virtually any organization with a free-forever model. Teams can generate complete courses and quizzes from a simple prompt or uploaded files. They can also add video lessons and SCORM modules, and let employees practice real conversations through AI role-play. Recognized with a 2026 Globee L&D Award, Nano LMS is an appealing option for onboarding, compliance, and leadership training.
RISE UP
Rise Up has quickly become one of Europe’s most recognized learning platforms, earning a Core Leader designation in the 2025 Fosway Learning Systems 9-Grid and very strong G2 reviews. This AI-powered platform combines LMS, LXP, and authoring capabilities with adaptive learning paths, built-in e-commerce, branded course pages, and automated translation into more than 45 languages. For organizations training employees, customers, and partners across multiple regions, Rise Up is an up-and-comer worth serious attention.
SKILLABLE
Skillable has long set the standard for hands-on technical training. Its virtual labs platform delivers guided instruction, practice sandboxes, and cloud- or VM-based environments that launch directly from an LMS. In addition, its scored labs and performance-based testing validate real-world skills. With more than 50 million labs launched and a perennial leadership position among G2 reviews, Skillable is a top choice for enterprise skill validation and enablement.
TALVI
Talvi turns an organization’s existing learning content into knowledge employees can immediately use. Its AI-powered platform scrubs and organizes corporate content, including courses locked inside SCORM packages. Then it delivers source-cited, permission-aware answers inside the tools people already use, from Microsoft Teams and Slack to Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot. For learning teams that want to unlock the full value of their LMS libraries, Talvi is a forward-thinking way to share knowledge in the flow of work.
