Wire Association International (WAI) is a global association serving the technical, manufacturing, and business segments of the wire and cable industry. It provides education and resources that strengthen workforce knowledge and support manufacturing innovation. WAI’s training depended on its annual conference and trade show, limiting access for professionals worldwide. Without an online learning infrastructure, it could not offer on-demand courses, consistently track progress, or sell training online. Member companies needed flexible education available throughout the year. After evaluating more than a dozen LMS platforms, WAI selected DigitalChalk to establish a centralized online training platform. The solution integrated with its association management system and enabled course creation, SCORM content delivery, enrollment management, course sales, progress tracking, and automatic completion certificates. WAI expanded from annual event-based education to technical training and certification programs available worldwide, around the clock. It trained 2.3 times more learners and established a new year-round online training revenue stream. Automated certificates reduced administrative work, helping a small internal team launch and grow the program. Member companies gained access to workforce training whenever their teams needed it.
