As Dematic’s business grows, it needs to ensure that new employees can quickly gain the competencies they need in order to contribute high-quality work, as well as helping established engineers to level-up by learning new skills. Working with D2L, the company has built a transparent, scalable certification program that helps engineers and managers match the right skills to the right projects. Dematic’s new competency-based certification program, powered by the Brightspace platform, was an immediate hit with the company’s learners. It accelerated onboarding from 12 months to 8 weeks, helping new employees quickly gain the skills they need in order to deliver value to clients and provide total visibility into engineers’ competencies to help managers select the right team for each project.
